What's New?
Kicking things up a notch, the 2020 Kia Forte features two new sport-focused trim levels: GT Line and GT
- GT Line models receive race-inspired aesthetic enhancements inside and out, including a new grille and unique side sills, interior accent stitching, LED cabin lighting, a flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, and a premium 320-watt Harman Kardon sound system. Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, and a blind-spot monitor are also standard.
- GT models feature all the same equipment and styling elements of the GT Line, and add performance upgrades like a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine (201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque), fully independent rear suspension, larger brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires, and either a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic or a six-speed manual transmission.
Trims and Features
In addition to the two new GT tiers, features for the Kia Forte are organized across four well-equipped trim levels: FE, LXS, S, and EX.
Powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (147 horsepower, 132 pound-feet of torque), the base FE trim comes standard with automatic headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Advanced safety features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist are also standard.
Moving up the trim ladder, Fair Lawn drivers can enjoy premium upgrades like 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, Uvo communication services, a sunroof, LED headlights, automatic high beams, additional driver-assistance technologies, and more.
